Ben Affleck

Ben Affleck (born Benjamin Géza Affleck-Boldt; August 15, 1972) is an American screenwriter, director, actor, and older brother Casey Affleck. He became known in mid 1990-ies, after participating in the movie Mallrats, and has since become an Oscar winner for his screenplay in good Will Hunting in 1997. He has established himself as one leading Hollywood as a star in several big budget films like Armageddon, Pearl Harbor, Changing lanes, the sum of all fears and irrational.

After high-profile relationship with actress Gwyneth Paltrow in 1998, his relationship with actress / singer Jennifer Lopez attracted media attention worldwide, in which Affleck and Lopez are dubbed as "Bennifer." After its collapse in 2004, he began meeting Jennifer Garner. The two married in June 2005 and welcomed their first child, Violet Ann Affleck in December 2005. Affleck is actively involved in politics, with a non-profit organization called the children of the project. Along with childhood friend Matt Damon, they founded the production company LivePlanet.
